2nd Timothy 4:7

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, and I have kept the faith. A kind and gentle servant of the Lord has now returned home.

Nathan was born April 29, 1932, to Luther and Volate Linton.

A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Korean Conflict. Nathan married the love of his life, Jackie Moore-Dexter, on February 14, 1975. His most cherished moments were the times spent with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Jackie; sons: James Linton, Lance (Rhonda) Linton and Frank (Carla) Dexter; son-in-law, Richard Gibson; daughters: Stephanie (Scott) Checketts and Rebecca (Clint) Hardman; grandchildren: Matthew, Kaleb (Sarah), Nathan, Case, Colby, Gavin, Brooke, Brandi (Jake), Alexandra, Neavah, Haley and Dakota; great-grandchildren: Ryker, Randall and Andria; sisters: Louann, Margaret and Marilyn; and brother-in-law, Mel Moore.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Ann; parents; brothers: Denton, Ralph and Paul; sisters: Jean, Ruth and Bernice; and in-laws: Gordon and Leatha Moore.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. in the Utah Veterans Memorial Park Cemetery (17111 S. Camp William Road, Bluffdale). The family will meet with friends prior to services from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM in the UVMP Chapel located at the Cemetery.

We wish to thank Jolene, Kay, Mike and Allen of Sunbrook Hospice, the staff of Garden Terrace, and the doctors from the VA for their care and compassion.
