Funeral services for Louis Burrell Baxter, 84, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, October 10, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Mike Utley officiating. Interment will follow in the Menard Chapel Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 9, 2014 beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Baxter was born November 1, 1929 in Livingston, Texas to parents, Claud Baxter and Ada (McAdams) Baxter, and passed away October 7, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; Ella May and Ida Fay Baxter (infant twins), and Lela Elizabeth Atkerson; three brothers, Claud Eugene Baxter, James Douglas Baxter and Alford (Frog) Lee Baxter; son, James (Doughbelly) Lewis Baxter; wife, Delores Peek Baxter, and his two faithful dogs, Trouble and Skipper.
