Fletcher Adams, age 87, of Amity, died Saturday, May 31, 2008.
He was born on October 29, 1920 at Amity, the son of Hob Adams and Lucinda Catherine Hurt Adams.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
Survivors are his wife, Peggy Adams of Amity; two brothers, Sam Adams of Glenwood and Franklin Adams of Suphur Springs, Texas; two sisters, Verna Sue Anderson of Kirby and Betty McNeil of Amity.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Mondy, June 2, 2008 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood.
Interment will be in the Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
