Frank Adams, age 80, of Pickton, Texas, passed on July 11, 2014, after a brief stay at Rock Creek Health and Rehab. He was born on February 5, 1934 to James (Hobb) Adams and Lucinda (Hurt) Adams in Amity, Arkansas. He married Helen Clanin on July 24, 1953 in Bluffton, Indiana. They were married almost 61 years. Helen survives. Frank was in the dairy business for many years, he was part-owner of A & I Dairy Supply in Sulphur Springs, worked briefly as an Insurance Adjuster, and an employee of Mix-Mill in Bluffton, Indiana.

Surviving family members include his sons, Jeff Adams, James Adams and Brian Adams all of Pickton; daughters, Peggy Brown and husband, Charlie of Winnsboro and Penny Steele of Pickton. He has three surviving siblings, Sam Adams of Wellington, TX, Betty McNeil and Verna Sue Anderson of Amity, AR; grandchildren include Josh Brown, Holly Brown, Sarah Johnson, Dakota Johnson and Brandt Steele and Bryce Steele; and two great-grandchildren Rylee Ann and James Bodie Aaron. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Raymond Adams, Fletcher Adams, Herman Adams and sister, Pearl Page. Private services were held. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
