Age 88, died Sunday in Amity AR; retired farmer, who created crops in the Quail community (Collingsworth County) between 1926 and 1951, including the W W White, P E Starr, and Burt Weaver farms; member of the Caney Valley Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include wife of sixty eight years Lucinda Hurt Adams, five sons, two daughters, seventeen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
