Ellis Woods 73,died Saturday in Bixby Manor Nursing Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, graveside at South Bethal Cemetery at Braggs, Okla., Rev. Elmer Moss Jr. will be officiating. Services are under the direction of Dowdy Funeral Home.
Mr. Woods was born Aug. 13, 1923 in Braggs Okla., to James and Mae Woods and has lived in Boynton and Haskell before moving to Tulsa several years ago. He worked for the Town of Boynton and Haskell as a maintence worker for several years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Maxine in 1989, three grandchildren and two brothers.
Survivors include his friend and companion Bonnie Shelton of Tulsa, Okla., three sons, Ellis Wayne Woods of Boynton Okla., Winson Woods and Jerry Woods both of Sand Springs, Okla.; five daughters, Barbara Holt of Broken Arrow,Debbie Allison of Harrison Ark. Ethel Stockstill of Haskell
