Lonnie Carl Woods 75, of Boynton Ok died Tuesday Jan. 25, 1994 in Van Buran Ark. He was a former railroad section hand.
Survivors include his wife, Christine of Boynton, and daughter Patty King of Alma Ark. Sister's Alpha Parson and
Lydia Fowler of Boynton, Pearl Deckard of Sapulpa and Rita Crowe of Beggs , one brother, Ellis Woods of Tulsa,
Two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday. January 28, 1994, at South Bethal Cemetery in Braggs Ok.
under the direction of Spivey Funeral Home of Beggs.
Pallbearers will be Eugene Williams, Bobby, Marvin, and
Junior Bechtol and Johnny Elis
Maxine and Ellis Woods and Rita Crowe told me that his name was Carl Owen Woods that they just called him Lonnie. Peggy Sprinkles (2000)
I re-spoke to Rita Crowe in 2010 about it telling her that none of the census and everything that I found has Lonnie on it. She says she knew but her parents named him Carl Owen Woods and the law man by the name of Webster Reese at Braggs Ok. was real good friends with them and he started calling him Lonnie and the name stuck. That is why on the records you will find Lonnie no one ever called him Carl from then on. But his given name was Carl Owen. Peggy Woods Sprinkles
