Services are Held For L. W. Nestor at O'Connor Jan. 2 – Funeral services for Lawrence W. Nestor were held at the Church of the Visitation at O'Connor Friday morning January 2nd. Rev. Robert Foster, assistant pastor, officiated at the Requiem Mass. Burial was in the O'Connor cemetery. Pallbearers were: John Whalen, Albert Whalen, Francis Harrahill, Phillip Dillon, John Sweeney and George Schaub. A resident of this county for 72 years, Mr. Nestor was born at Dundee, Iowa, September 19, 1970 (sic). Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Roy Barnes of Lexington, Nebraska and Mrs. Thomas Moran of Grand Island, five brothers and four sisters. His parents, one brother and three sisters preceded him in death.
