OGDEN - Carroll Emerson Adams, 89, devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died Monday, May 31, 2004.
He was born August 3, 1914 in East Garland, Utah, a son of Delos Edgar and Hannah Christine Peterson Adams.
On September 15, 1940, Carroll married Wilma Wilson in Reno, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. Wilma preceded him in death on December 25, 1991.
He was reared and educated in East Garland.
Carroll was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints, where he was a High Priest.
He retired from Sears/Roebuck.
Carroll enjoyed deer hunting and boating in his younger years. He also had a great love for music. In his later years he enjoyed caring for his beautiful flowers. He was also an avid basketball fan.
Surviving are one son, Craig (Kathy) Adams, Ogden; and one daughter, Coy Ann (Frank) Oliver, American Fork; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, five brothers and six sisters.
Funeral services will be held Sat81 urday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
