The obituary for Hiram J. Storm stated that he had died Jul. 26, 1932 in Herrick at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Gray. He was born in 1851, the son of William and Elizabeth Rankin Storm and had married Mary Jane Ferguson, Feb. 17, 1870. They had no children but had a special affection for a niece, Mrs. P. O. Vandeveer of Whiting, IN. His wife had died three months previous. Surviving were brothers, Freeman T. Storm of Windsor and John [Jack] Storm of Big Spring; plus sisters, Mrs. Elvira Dietz of Windsor and Mrs. Elnora Lawton of Kansas City. He and his brother, Wesley, built the Windsor Mutual Telephone plant and a similar one in Shelbyville. Burial was in Ash Grove. Windsor Gazette - Friday - 29 Jul 1932
