Mrs. Elizabeth Storm, more familiarly known as Aunt Betsey Storm, died Monday night at the home of her son Freeman in Ash Grove. She was 88 years old and was highly respected. Rev. Ira Blythe conducted funeral and burial services Wednesday afternoon at Ash Grove church and cemetery. Mrs. Storm had been a member of the Christian Church for many years. Her maiden name was Rankin and she was the widow of William [Beardy] Storm. She is survived by several brothers and sisters; two daughters, Mrs. Lottman [Lawton?] of Kansas City, Mrs. Dan Dietz; five sons, John H., James Ben, Wesley, Hiram and Freeman. Mrs. Storm was one of four sisters who married men named Storm. One of these sisters is 85 years old. Windsor Gazette - 20 Mar 1913
