b. 23 September 1904, TN – d. 28 March 1990, TN md on the 9th of June 1929, White Co., TN to Ova Margaret (Jernigan) Julian, b. 16 September 1912, TN – d. 9 March 1995, d/o Henry Woodrow Grady Jernigan & Nola Edna Lowe. Cecil Julian, s/o Cornelius Julian (1880-1956) & Alice Maynard, (1886-1958), d/o Charles & Sally Maynard.

BAXTER - Funeral services for Cecil Julian will be held Friday, March 30, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with burial in Cookeville City Cemetery.
Mr. Julian died Wednesday (March 28, 1990) in Cookeville General Hospital after an extended illness.
Born in Putnam County September 23, 1904, he was the son of the late Cornelius Julian and Alcie (Maynard) Julian.
He was a member of Boma First Church of God and a life-time member and past president of the Farm Bureau, Soil Conservation Service, Feeder Pig Assoc. and Putnam County Co-op. He was a retired farmer.
His family includes his wife, Ova Julian of Baxter; two daughters, Joyce Baird of Knoxville and Shirley Maynard of Warren, Michigan; two sons, Thurman and Lonnie Julian, both of Baxter; three sisters, Pearl Carver and Alice Whitehead, both of Nashville and Edith Wallace of Cookeville; one brother, Hollis Julian of Cookeville; 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one son, Herman Julian; one daughter, Lois Julian; foster son, Charles Rodgers; three brothers and four sisters.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Bro. Clyde Cunningham and Bro. Archie Whitefield will officiate ai the services.
