Mrs. McMillen was born March 30, 1905 in Markton, the daughter of Samuel & Lydia Bodenhorn (AKA Bottenhorn) Burkett. She married Norman R. McMillen, who preceded her in death in 1978.
She was a lifetime resident of the Punxsutawney area.
She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Mae E. Haas of Doylestown, Mrs. Dorothy I. Smith of Punxsutawney R.D. 6, and Mrs. Robert J. (Jean) Smith of Punxsutawney R.D. 6; a son, Leonard McMillen of Mahaffey R.D. 1; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; four sisters: Mrs. Jessie Brunner of DuBois, Mrs. Mary Heitzenrater of Punxsutawney, Mrs. Marcella Kaylor of Punxsutawney, and Mrs. Lucy Milliron of Punxsutawney R.D. 5; and brother, Samuel Burkett of Punxsutawney.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Dale McMillen and Edward McMillen, her parents and a brother, Budd Burkett.
Funeral services will be held Friday at the Pifer Funeral Home of Punxsutawney. The Rev. G. Jack Provard and the Rev. Fay A. Cron will officiate.
Interment will be at Markton Cemetery.
