FRANKLIN - Marguerite B. Donnell, 97, wife of the late Virgil Donnell, died Aug. 18, 2010, at an Ellsworth health care facility. She was born July 30, 1913, in Milbridge, daughter of Henry and Eunice (Tracy) Burke. She worked for many years at Crobb Box and the textile mill in Ellsworth.
She is survived by one son, Gerard Goodwin and his wife, Judy, of Franklin; one son-in-law, Bill Hardison of Franklin; one granddaughter, Susan Heel and her husband, Matt, of Somesville; a grandson, Rusty Goodwin and his wife, Tammy, of Franklin; great-grandson, Christopher Heel; great-granddaughter, Mikaela Goodwin; one sister, Bessie Martin of Sullivan; sister-in-law, Marion Burke of Machias; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and special extended family, Brian and Donna Abbott of Franklin and Kaylee Smith of Gouldsboro.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one daughter, Alana Hardison; five sisters, Beatrice Turner, Hazel Fraccola, Zelma "Sonnie" Mitchell, Hilda Quinn and Gertrude Whicher; and one brother, Jack Burke.
A graveside service will be held at Bayview Cemetery, Franklin. (Bangor Daily News 8/20/2010)
