Services for George G. Rose, 76, of Houston, formerly of Milam County, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with the Rev. James Mantooth officiating.
Mr. Rose died Saturday in a Houston hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Rose was a member of the Christian Church.
Survivors are his widow, Florence Rose, of Houston; 2 sons, O.C. Rose of Houston, Billy D. Rose of Ville Platte, La.; two brothers, Will Rose of Rogers, Dewey Rose of Altaloma; three sisters, Nemonia Tyler, of Texas City, Omia Clampett, of Dallas, Lena Alford, of Rockdale; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
