Gaylord O. Fleming, 67, Rt. 6, Rensselaer, a Jasper County farmer, died at 7:20 p.m. Thursday in the Jasper County Hospital following an illness of several months.

Born in Newton County, he had resided in Jasper County since 1928. His marriage in 1932 in Lafayette was to Frances E. Payne and she survives.

Mr. Fleming was a graduate of Mt. Ayr High School and had served in the Indiana National Guard. He was a member of the Brook United Methodist Church.

Surviving with his widow are four sons, Donald D. of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Jack J., Larry L., and Jerry D., all of Rensselaer; a daughter, Mrs. Martin (Carol Jean) Yoder of Kentland; his mother, Mrs. Mary Lyons Fleming of Rensselaer; a brother, Everette of Rensselaer, and three sisters, Mrs. Max (Ferol) Comer and Mrs. William (Crystal) Woodworth, both of Rensselaer; Mrs. Lewis (Fay) McCurtain of Remington; and 11 grandchildren. Two brothers preceded him in death.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday in Jackson Funeral chapel, Rensselaer. Service there at 1:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. David Hogsett officiating and interment in Weston Cemetery.
