Born in Brook, Ind., on Jan. 29, 1885, she was a daughter of Isaac and Laura (Statton) Lyons. She was married to Charles W. Fleming on Feb. 2, 1902 in Brook; he died Sept. 8, 1961.
A resident of Jasper County 45 years, she attended Newton County public schools, and was a member of the United Brethren Church of Brook.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Max (Ferol) Comer and Mrs. William (Crestal) Woodworth of Rensselaer, and Mrs. Lewis (Faye) McCurtain of Remington; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Cecile) Clark of Brook and Mrs. Della Perry of Kentland. She was preceded in death b y four sons, two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were conducted from Jackson Funeral Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. David Hogsett officiating. Interment followed in Weston Cemetery.
