Funeral services for Percy C. Cushing, 64 of Milford, Conn., a Middletown, N.Y. resident for 44 years, were held Wednesday morning at the Cody-White Funeral Home, Milford, Conn. with the Rev. Irvin Thursby pastor at the Church of Christ Congregational, officiating. Mr. Cushing a machine operator for the Tey Manufacturing Co., died May 8, 1961 at the Grace-New Haven Hospital. Born on March 1897 in New Hampton, N.Y.. Mr. Cushing lived in Milford, Conn. for 20 years. Survivors include his wife Florence Lapham Cushing; two sons, Ralph E. Cushing of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. and William E. Cushing of West Haven, Conn.; three daughters, Mrs. Martin Evans of Wurtsboro, N.Y.; Mrs. Clayton Krause and Mrs. James Law both of Milford, Conn.. A brother Harold Cushing of Middletown, N.Y.; five sisters, Mrs. John Purgatorio of Middletown, N.Y., Mrs. Palmer Lewis of Santa Barbara, Calif., Mrs. Stanley Smith of Sloatsburg; Mrs. Isabelle Cliffords of Goshen, N.Y. and Mrs. Barbara Wedlock of New York City, 13 grand-childrens and several nieces and nephews.
