Mrs. Nellie M. BAKER, 87, R.R. 1, Macy, died at 12:55 a.m. today in her home following an illness of three years. She was a native of Fulton county and had lived in the county all her life. Born Aug. 3, 1877, she was the daughter of Isaiah [A. and Nancy A. EWER] BACON. She was married Dec. 22, 1896 in Fulton county to George BAKER, who died in 1958. Surviving are two sons, Robert [BAKER], R.R. 1, Macy, and Donald E. [BAKER], South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Florence BIRT, Indianapolis; eleven grandchildren, and thirty great-grandchildren. A son, Harry [BAKER], preceded in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Ditmire-Davidson funeral home at Fulton with the Rev. Franklin ARTHUR officiating. Burial will be in the Macy Plainview cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday.
