Robert W. BAKER, 82, Rt. 1, Macy, died at 11 p.m. Monday in Woodlawn Hospital after an illness of 1 1/2 years. He was born May 15, 1903 in Fulton County to George and Nellie M. BACON BAKER, and was a lifetime area resident. On Sept. 5, 1923 in Macy, he was married to Miriam J. FENTERS, who survives. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Macy Christian Church and the Fulton County Farm Bureau. Surviving with the wife are three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Patricia M.) EYTCHESON, Rt. 6, Rochester; Mrs. Robert (Doris) ROSS, Rt. 1, Tippecanoe, and Mrs. Lowell (Lois A.) ROBINETTE, Sunnyvale, Calif. a son, Robert D. [BAKER], Los Altos, Calif.; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren. A great-grandson, two brothers and a sister preceded in death. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home at Fulton with the Rev. David SMITH officiating. Burial will be in the Plainview Cemetery, Macy. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and on Thursday until the time of services. Memorials may be made to Multiple Sclerosis, Indiana Chapter.
