Henry is the son of Peter Peters and Weabke Schomaker. He was married to Hannah Etta Bogard on 26 Jan 1888 in Avoca, Cass Co., NB. They had the following children: Lena, Erva, John, Fred died in infancy, and Ruth.

WEDDING ANNOUNCEMENT---AVOCA NEWS, AVOCA, NEBRASKA, January 31, 1888---On Thursday, the 26th. instant, H. Louis Peters and Miss Hannah Bogard were united in marriage by Judge Robert Malcolm, at the residence of the bride's parents, one and one half miles north-east of Avoca. "Rover" wishes them a long and happy life, with a generous multiplicity of the pre-requisites thrown in, which makes life worth living: the young people have proceeded at once to housekeeping and for the present will occupy the upper rooms in Oriando Tefft's building on the north side of main street.

OBITUARY:
HENRY PETERS DIES Burial will be in Minneapolis Henry Louis Peters, 78, died early this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lena Morris, 1010 Moro. Mr. Peters was born on October 5, 1865 and was a retired farmer coming here to live about seven months ago. Arrangements are being made by the Ryan funeral home and burial will be in Minneapolis. Surviving him are three children. Mrs. Morris, Erva Peters, of Wichita; and Ruth Baumgartner, of Natoma.

MRS. Morris' FATHER DIES Death comes early today to Henry Peters, 78 Death came early today to Henry L. Peters, 78, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lena Morris, 1010 Moro street. Mr. Peters, whose home was at Minneapolis, had been visiting his daughter since last September. Mr. Peters was apparently in good health until early this morning. Death was attributed to heart disease. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. D. P. Baumgartner. St. Louis; and Erva Peters, Wichita, a son. The body was taken to the Tyan Funeral home where plans are being made for the services.
