ANDREWS
Cora Andrews was born Jan. 7, 1894 in Chariton, Iowa and passed away Nov. 11, 1987 at the Chariton Manor at the age of 93 years. She was the daughter of Will and Rachel Wilson Clark.
Cora started attending Sunday School at the First Baptist Church in 1900, joining in 1908. She served as Sunday School Secretary for 10 years. She worked at the telephone company and was a beautician for 45 years.
She was married to Dr. Ralph Andrews on May 19, 1939. He died June 10, 1958. She is also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Harry, Frank and Elmer Clark and a sister, Jessie Clark.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 13, 1987 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Chariton. The service was conducted by Rev. Ron Stein. Bearers were Jack Young, Marion Allen, Noel McKinley, Bob Curtis, Milan Tuttle and Everett Beals. Burial was in the Chariton Cemetery.
