Rites for Ernest J. Millman, 63, who died yesterday in an Alamogordo hospital, will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the West Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Dr. William H. Hardwick of the First Methodist Church will officiate.
Herman Worsham, Raymond Whitfield, Forrest Lee, Ray Angel, David Goodson and Richard I. Floyd will be pallbearers, with burial in Carlsbad Cemetery.
Millman was born here on May 27, 1909. He went to school in Lakewood, where he later worked on the family ranch. In the mid 1930s he was employed by the Potash Co. of America, where he worked until 1949. He then worked at the beacon at Guadalupe Peak for six years. He lived at La Luz for the past five years.
He is survived by sisters Mrs. Dwight Lee and Edna Millman, both of Carlsbad and nephews Clifton Millman of Amarillo, Tex., and John Millman of Farmington.
