Funeral services for Mrs. Ora Millman Parker were held Saturday at West Funeral Home with Rev. H.L. McAlester officiating. She died Friday at a local hospital.
A resident of the Carlsbad area for the past 64 years. Mrs. Parker was residing at 2507 Montana St. at the time of her death.
Mrs. Parker attended Lakewood schools and later was employed at Peoples Merchantile there. She became Lakewood postmistress in 1926 and moved to Carlsbad in 1932.
Pallbearers were Forrest Lee, Richard Floyd, Roy Goodson, W.R. Jackson, Marvin Mahaffey and Fred Mahaffey.
Survivors include a brother, Ernest J. Millman of Alamogordo, and two sisters, Mrs. Dwight Lee and Edna Millman, both of Carlsbad.
Burial was in Carlsbad Cemetery.
