HELD THIS MORNING
Funeral was held Monday morning for John D. Millman, 84, who died Sunday morning at 1:30 o'clock after a five-day illness. Services were held at West Chapel, with the Rev. L.B. Trone, Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial was in Carlsbad Cemetery.
Millman is survived by his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Dwight Lee, Mrs. Ora Parker and Miss Edna Millman, and two sons, Carl and Ernest Millman, all of Carlsbad.
Millman had been a prominent cattleman in the Lakewood district for the past 46 years.
Pallbearers were Wicher Angell, Irvin Martin, Ned Martin, Roy Angell, Forrest Lee and Albert Lee.
