The daughter of Fabien Regimbal and Salome LaBerge, she was born in Gentilly, Minnesota, 6 months before her family migrated to Washington State.
She was married to Frank Tompkins (1892-1949) of Oregon. When Frank passed away in 1949 he was buried in Yakima's Calvary Cemetery. Family later placed a memorial Cenotaph for him in Walla Walla's Mountain View Cemetery. Cenotaph here. His actual burial site is linked under 'Spouse' below.
The couple's grandson was Father Tom Mele (1951-2009) of Walla Walla.
Lorie lived to the age of 97, and passed away in Walla Walla, Washington, September 17 in 1992. Her burial was on the 21st in Mountain View Cemetery. - M Fortier
