Second child and first son of Carl Alston and Nora Cave, Henry married Inez Harrell March 2, 1933 at Sweetwater, Nolan, Texas. They had three sons.

Henry was a truck farmer (vegetables) near Winnsboro, TX for most of his life.

Henry remarried after Inez died but that didn't work out and nothing is known about her.
