L.B. Berna, 93, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Friday in Albert Cemetery in Oney, Okla. Visitation: 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home, Burleson. L.B. and his family were longtime residents of Anadarko, Okla., where he was a deacon at First Baptist Church. He served in the Navy during World War II and was stationed in San Pedro, Calif. He retired from a civil service position with the Department of Army at Fort Sill, Okla., and was an independent insurance agent. After retiring they lived in La Feria for another 20 years before moving to Burleson to be near family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Regina; his parents; 10 older brothers; and four sisters. Survivors: Daughter, Glenda Page and husband, Sam, of Burleson, son, Larry Berna and wife, Racy, of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.; grandchildren, Brenton and Kendyl Berna of Rancho Palos Verdes, Sherry McClain and husband, Mike, of Hominy, Okla., Teri Anderson and husband, Craig, of Burleson, Toni Fragala and husband, Steve, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Sammy Page and wife, Nicole, of Whitney; and great-grandchildren, Carley Anderson, Mattingly, Samantha and Luke Fragala, and Noah Page.
