LINZY D. BERNA FUNERAL SERVICES

Funeral services were held Friday, May 31 at 2 p.m. in the Harrell Memorial Chapel for Linzy Dall Berna who died May 29 in the Dublin Hospital at the age of 69. Mr. Berna was a trucker at the time of his death. Officiating the services was Rev. B.F. Jones. Burial was in the Proctor Cemetery.

Mr. Berna was born April 29, 1905 in Comanche County, Texas, to W.H. Berna and Mary Daisey (Brown) Berna. He married Annie Mae Hancock on November 29, 1925 and they had five children. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving relatives include his wife Mrs. Annie Mae Berna of Dublin, two daughters Mrs. Mary Alice Calder of Dublin and Imogene Hall of Las Cruces, New Mexico; three sons, L.D. Berna, Jr. of Fort Worth, James Cleo Berna of Arlington, Ray Berna of Arlington. Brothers and sisters are Vinn Bover of Carnegie, Okla, Omer Berna of Aransas Pass, Audie Barry of Carnegie, Okla., Coy Berna of Dublin, R.C. Berna of Harlingen, E. A. Berna of Hico, O.E. Berna of Midwest City, Okla., P.O. Berna of California, V.A. Berna of La Ferina, B.J. Berna of Anadarko, Okla., and Edna Scott of Huntington Beach, California; twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Lee Pendleton, E.C. Stratton, Newell Alexander, Tom Humphries, Orval Payne and Carl L. Hall.
