Abt 1790 in Luzerne Co PA she married Joseph Corey, son of Jonathan and Martha Cooke Corey. Between 1800-1810 they moved to NY State. Finally settling In Almond Allegany Co NY. She was Mother to ten children.
We were fortunate to find letters in 4th Grt Grandfather Joseph's, Daughter of American Revolution records, while researching in Wash D.C. a few years back, from Libbie S. Corey, wife of Stephen Tanner Corey, son of Benjamin/ Ruth Tanner, son of Joseph in which she wrote the following: " Joseph Corey married Sarah ( or Martha ) Parks, a daughter of____Parks, I believe her father was Amos, info from the census records, whose reported father was Prince William of England, and who was born before Prince William became King. His mother not being of royal blood, her son could receive no royal recognition, but received the name of Parks from one branch of the King's family. After Prince William ascended the throne he send his Morgantic wife and son to America. Just whom the son married I never learned, but he was the father of Benjamin Corey's Mother, and the wife of Joseph Corey."
Now the question, can this statement be proven? will it ever be proven? does it matter if it is ever proven? I leave it to the reader to answer these questions.
