Mrs. Amanda Pearl Collins, 76, of 915 Jefferson Ave., died Tuesday at the Greenfield Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness.

She was a charter member of the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Christian Union, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Morton Liles will officiate and burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Thursday.

The daughter of William and Martha McDonald Cox, she was born Nov. 23, 1893 in Wetzel County, W. Va. On July 23, 1919 she was married to Everett Collins, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Miss Edith M. Collins, Columbus; a foster son, Ronald Lott, Conneaut; three foster grandchildren; a brother, Clarence, Santa Rosa, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister and five brothers.
