Martin L. Cox, 64, of 911 Jefferson Ave., died Saturday in Chillicothe Hospital. He had been a bus driver for 13 years for Public Transport, Inc.

A native of Tyler County, W. Va., Mr. Cox was born Nov. 14, 1898, and was the son of William L. and Martha McDonald Cox.

On July 22, 1933, he was married to Arminta Mae Honnold, who died Sept. 16, 1955.

He is survived by a son, Martin Jr., at home; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Collins of Chillicothe; and a brother, Clarence of Cedar Lake, Ind.

He was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters.

He was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Ben Pugh officiating. Burial, under the direction of the Heiby Memorial Home, will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
