Service for David O. Cox, 68, of 778 Adams Avenue, who died at Chillicothe Hospital Tuesday, will be held at Londonderry Friends Church at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. James Rinehart will officiate, and interment will be in Londonderry Cemetery by Fawcett Funeral Home. Friends may call at the residence after 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Mr. Cox was a son of William and Martha McDonald Cox and was born Sept. 27, 1884, in Tyler County, W. Va. He had lived in Ross County for 50 years and was married to Birdie Walter on March 4, 1911.
An employee of U. S. Shoe Corp. for nine years, he retired in 1951.
Survivors include his wife; a sister, Mrs. Everett Collins of Chillicothe; and two brothers, Martin of Chillicothe and Clarence of California.
