Father: Charles F. Anderson
Mother: Nona Clyde Hector
Note: Nona's daughter Lena Lee Hector married Jeff's brother George Christopher Startz.

Eva Mae Anderson married Jefferson Davis Startz 12/22/1920 by San Saba County Judge W. V. Dean. The 1930 census confirmed the family living in San Saba, TX. Eva was born 8/20/1901 Silver Valley, Coleman, TX, died 12/27/1971 San Saba, TX. They had one child, a daughter: Ruth Inez Startz b.9/19/1923 d.4/18/2002; Ruth married Hal Dufner 6/17/1939 at the First Baptist Church in San Saba, Texas. Hal Dufner b.9/23/1916 Hallettsville, TX, d.2/6/1990 San Saba, TX. Ruth and Hal Dufner are buried in Wallace Creek Cemetery, on the south cemetery fence, half way back. Ruth and Hal had three children:(1) Larry Hal Dufner, deceased, buried near Ruth & Hal, (2) David, (3)Howard.

Jeff Startz is buried in an unmarked grave immediately north of his parents Louis Charles and Mary Jane Holdman Startz. Eva is buried in another unmarked grave, likely near her other Anderson family members, which is near the south cemetery fence near the Dufner's and Hector's.

Family stories include that Jeff was a farmer and rancher in the San Saba area. Jeff served in WW1, it was not known what he did. A cousin told stories about visiting Jeff's ranch when he was a child. This story would have been based in the 1940's.
