Services for Louis F. Busse, 87, of 113 S. Elm st., Mount Prospect, a pioneer business man in the Elk Grove area, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in St. John's Lutheran church in Mount Prospect.
Mr. Busse died Wednesday in Northwest Community hospital in Arlington Heights. He was a brother of William Busse, a Cook county board commissioner for 52 years and a veteran Republican leader, who died in 1955 at the age of 91.

The Busse family was influential in Elk Grove township, both politically and commercially, for more than half a century. Roadways and sites thruout the county bear the family name.
Louis Busse operated a general store for about 25 years early in the century. He was a land developer in the Elk Grove area for the last 20 years.
Brother Headed Board
His brother, William, was president of the county board twice.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond and Erwin; five daughters, Mrs. Hilda Meeske, Mrs. Malinda Oehlerking, Mrs. Lydia Goebbert, Mrs. Mildred Benhart, and Mrs. Christina Boehne, all of Mount Prospect; 25 grandchildren; 34 greatgrandchildren; two brothers; and a sister.
