Albert F. Anderson, 71, son of Anton and Anna Anderson, was born in Polk County on March 30,1901, and passed away at the Annie Jeffrey Memorial Hospital in Osceola on July 22, 1972.

He attended school at district # 40 and was confirmed at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Osceola where he was a steadfast member.

He was married to Eva Sandin February 10, 1931 and continued to live on the farm where he was born. He became semi-retired seven years ago. He was a member of the church council and many other church committees throughout his life time. He was a member of the district #40 school board for 12 years.

Surviving are his wife Eva; daughters Mrs. Larry (Phyllis) Johnston, Columbus, Nebraska and Mrs. Gerald (Yvonne) Stuaber, York,Nebraska; two sons-in-laws; grandchildren, Mrs. Mrs. Perry (Sharon Johnston) Noyd, Murray, Pamela and Jacqueline Johnston, and William, Frances and Kristina Stauber; grandson-in-law, Perry Noyd, and great granddaughter, Christine Noyd; two sisters, Mrs. Selma Peterson and Mrs. Mary Gerdes of Osceola; two brothers John of Osceola and Wilmer of Stromsburg, several other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers C. Albin, Oscar and Herman, and sisters Emma Nyquist and Hilma Herman. Pastor Paul Konig officiated at Memorial services Tuesday morning, July 25, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The soloist Mrs. Howard Boden was accompanied by Mrs. Konig. Organist was Mrs. Howard Boden. Escorts were Enoch Anderson, Leonard Coffin, Orval Eikenhorst, Philip Nyberg, Paul Monson and Clarence Carlson. Interment was in the Osceola Cemetery.
