Mayfield, Ky. -- L. G. Cook, 95, of Mayfield died Monday in Venice, Fla.
Mr. Cook was president and board chairman of Dairyman Supply Co., board chairman of Merit Clothing Co., a trustee of Georgetown College, a member and deacon emeritus of First Baptist Church of Mayfield, and a member of Mayfield Masonic Lodge No. 369.
Surviving are one son, Greg Cook of Mayfield; two daughters, Carol Johnson of Mayfield and Mary Ann McIntosh of Paducah; two brothers, George Cook Sr. and John Cook, both of Mayfield; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Sutherlin Cook
Dorothy Sutherlin Cook. His parents were Coy Cook and Ruth Boyd Cook.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield with Dr. John C. Huffman officiating. Burial will be at Highland Park Mausoleum.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
