George B. McClellan Freeman, aged 69 years died at his home in Mont Alto at 12:25 o'clock this morning of a heart attack. He had been in ill health for the last two years and critically ill for the last three months, but not confined to his bed at any time.

He retired earlier than usual last night.

Mr. Freeman was born in Mont Alto, the son of David and Louise Blubaugh Freeman and spent his entire life in Mont Alto. He was well known in Franklin county as a dealer in antiques and for the last twelve years was considered an authority on antiques.

Mr. Freeman married 43 years ago.

Surviving is his wife, nee Elmira Woolridge, one daughter, Mrs. Paul Shindledecker, Hagerstown and one son Fax Freeman, Quincy, five grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Samuel Moser and a brother Joseph Freeman Waynesboro also survive the surviving brother and sister are the last of 16 children.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at his home at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. J. W. Yohe. Interment will be made in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mont Alto.
