Lewis Napoleon Freeman, aged 71 years died at his home 27 Philadelphia Avenue at 3 o'clock a.m. of complications. Mr. Freeman was taken ill about four weeks ago with a severe cold which developed into pneumonia. He was born at Mont Alto the son of David Freeman.He was a member of the First United Brethren Church and the J. O. U. A. M.
Surviving is his wife, Alice Jane Freeman and the following children: Silas of Waynesboro: Harry of Waynesboro, and Grace at Home. Two brothers McClellan, Mont Alto and Joseph of Waynesboro and a sister, Mrs. Samuel Moser, Waynesboro also survive.

Funeral services will be announced later.
