Below is the Will of John Longly Baty:

I, John Longly Baty, of the village of North Powder of the State of
Oregon, being of sound mind and memory, do make publish and declare this
to be my last will and testament, to wit:
First - All my just debts and funeral expenses shall be first fully
paid.
Second - I give devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder
of my estate, both real and personal, to my children and their heirs
forever with these provisions, to wit:
(1) My daughter Elizabeth Jane O'Bryant shall have full use of my
property both personal and real, until her death, after which it will be
divided equally between my children and their heirs.
(2) There shall be paid to my grandaughter, Emma O'Bryant, when the
Beaver Meadow ranch is sold, fifty dollars (50.00).
(3) From William Baty's share shall be deducted $78.30 for money
loaned him.
(3) From Matthew Baty's share be deducted $11.75 from money owed me.
Third - I nominate and appoint my daughter Elizabeth O'Bryant and her
husband John O'Bryant to be the executors of this my last will and
testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 23rd
day of December 1893.

request, and in his presence, and in the presence of each other, signed
our names as witnesses thereto.
