After Sarah's death in 1859, Alexander married a second time to Mary Susan Ferrel Hill. Mary was the 1st child of the equally well know Oregon pioneers Doctor Reuben Hill and his wife Margaret Graham (Lair) Hill. Together, Mary and Alexander had an additional 3 children; Addie Mable "Gertrude" Mark, Jewell (Julia) Esther Mark and John Coleman Mark.
Like A.K. Mark, this was the second marriage for Mary Hill. Her first husband was Nathaniel "Nathan" Mitchell Sparks with whom she had already produced 5 children. I mention this because the last child born from Mary's first marriage was Nathana Belle Sparks who is also one of the 11 interments at Mark's Memorial Park. Nathana married twice. 1st to William Henry Montgomery and 2nd to William McConnell. Thus, Nathana's interment name of Nathana McConnell. The "Frankie Montgomey" listed in the Mark's Memorial Park is most likely Nathana's first born child Frank Linsey Montgomery. Frank was born on 19 Oct 1879 and died before the 1900 census.
