Nathana Belle Sparks Montgomery McConnell. Nathana Belle Sparks step-grandfather was Alexander Kesterson Mark who is interred in the Mark's Memorial Park. Nathana was the last child born to Alexander's 2nd wife, Mary Hill, before her 1st husband died and she re-married Alexander Mark.

Nathana herself would also marry twice. First to William Henry Montgomery on 23 Nov 1875. Nathana and William Montgomery would have 3 children; Frank Linsey, William Henry and Nathan Mark Montgomery. The Frank Montgomery, buried in the Mark's Memorial Park, is most likely Nathana's first born son Frank Linsey Montgomery.

Nathana married a second time to William J. McConnell on 25 Mar 1884. Together, William and Nathana had 5 more children; William Henry, Rota Loretta, Guy W., Reuben Coleman Hill McConnell, Victor Earl and Susan Maria "May" McConnell.

Nathana died just down the road from the Mark's Memorial Park in the small town of Scott's Mills, Marion County, Oregon.
