Daughter of Elijah Jarrell and Bessie Belle Hopkins. Wife of Theodore J. Carr, mother of three.

FRANCES D. (JARREL) CARR
Frances lost a courageous battle with cancer and died, Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005.
Frances' life began April 14, 1932, in Bloomfield, Mo. She was one of five children born to Lige and Bessie (Hopkins) Jarrell. On Jan. 7, 1950, Frances married Theodore Carr and together they raised a loving family.
Friends visited with Frances' family from 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 25, at Hutchins Funeral Home, Watervliet, where funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26.
Burial followed in Fairview Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to South Haven Hospice.
Frances is survived by two children, Linda (David) Haase and Douglas (Cori) Carr; nine grandchildren -- Billy, Angie, April, Tonya, Sarah, Melissa, T.J., Matt and Shawna; 12 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Joe Cross; brothers, Kenneth and Carl (Virginia) Jarrell, both of Dexter, Mo.; sister, Ruth Ann (James) Ricketts of Walhalla, Mi; and many nieces and nephews.
Her husband; daughter, Jane Cross; grandson, Scott Cross; parents; and sister, Fay Strouts, preceded her in death.
Memorials may be directed to South Haven Hospice.
