Gustav Albert Schulle was born with a twin Minna Louise,tenth of fourteen children, according to the Church records in Germany. He was very young when the family immigrated to America. The parents and six children came in to Texas to join four older siblings who had made the trip two years earlier.

First marriage: Hermina Jung Boerig March 6, 1897, children of the marriage: Gustav William and Walter Henry.

Second mrriage: Alvina Rene February 22, 1906, children of the marriage: Arthur, Paul Heinrich Ferdinand, and Arnold William.
