Norway - John M. Brunson, 89, died Saturday in an Orangeburg hospital. The funeral will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Bethel Baptist Church near Norway. Burial, directed by Thompson Funeral Home of Orangeburg, will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Brunson was born in Orangeburg, a son of Charlie E. Brunson and Simmie Binnicker Brunson. He was a deacon of Bethel Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Dolly Myers Brunson; two sons, Doc M. Brunson and Marvin M. Brunson, both of Norway; three daughters, Mildred B. McCormick of Norway, Betty B. Marchant of Harleyville and Mary Murphy of Orangeburg; a brother, Bragg B.
