DENMARK - Joseph Eugene Brunson, 68, retired mechanic, died yesterday morning in the Medical College Hospital, after an extended illness.
Graveside services will be tomorrow at 11 A.M. at the Denmark Cemetery, directed by the Smalls Funeral Home.
Mr. Brunson was born in Orangeburg County, Aug. 20, 1898, a son of Charles Eugene Brunson and Mrs. Simmie Binnicker Brunson. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Denmark.
Surviving are: his widow, Mrs. Swannie Hughes Brunson; a son, Lenwood Eugen Brunson of Denmark; a daughter, Mrs. Keith M. Harper of Georgetown; three brothers, Macon Brunson and Charles E. Brunson of Norway, B. Bragg Brunson of North Charleston, and Four grandchildren.
