Edward EDLER, 67, died about 12:45 a.m. Sunday at the Jefferson County Hospital. He had been in failing health the past year.
Last rites will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Hoyt Whitebread in charge. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Edward EDLER was born Sept. 16, 1902, in Jefferson County and spent all of his life in this community. He was the son of John and Lora SHEPHERD EDLER.
On Sept. 6, 1931, he was married to Louretta SEE. She survives.
Other survivors include three brothers and two sisters: Mrs. Gladys STONE, Keosauqua, and Mrs. Grace ELDER, Selma; William, Selma; Jacob, Keosauqua; and Merle, Fairfield.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
