Zella Rogers was the daughter of Benjamin Rogers and Mary Elizabeth Ruffner. She married Stephen Jenkins 6 Feb 1887 in Marion County, IA. She was age 48y 2m 11d when she died and is buried at Graceland cemetery by her husband and parents.
Zella was a member of the Methodist Church since age 14 until her death from stomach and liver problems. She was survived by her husband, daughter Mabel, her mother, one brother J D Rogers and half brother Dr Sherwood of Chicago. Also three half sisters, Mrs A V Kendrick of Long Beach, CA. Mrs W R Stone of Abilene and Mrs John Danner of Vevay, IN.
