Paul Douglas Marable was the son of Dr. John Hartwell Marable, II and Evelina Helen Hutchison Smith Marable. He was never married. He died at the home of his mother, Evelina, in Clarksville, TN of pneumonia. His gravesite cannot be located but his obit says he was interred at the Marable family cemetery in Corbandale on the old family estate.
