Obituary: Our Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother Blanche Larsen Andrus 96 returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on February 9, 2007 at the Bear River Valley Care Center in Tremonton, Utah surrounded by her loving family.

Blanche was born October 27, 1910 in Logan Utah a daughter of Job A. and Mary Jane Larsen. On August 31, 1929 she married James Andrus in Preston, Idaho and their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.

They had three children Jennie (John) Potter, Collinston, Utah, Dr. Richard (Sharon) Andrus, Washington, Utah and Jean (Royce) Thompson of Bear River City, Utah.

Jim died in 1967. Blanche has 14 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 15 great great grandchildren with one more soon to be born, she has 3 step great grandchildren, and 1 step great great grandson.

Her family was her life and she was always the happiest when she was surrounded by them, her favorite times were when her grandchildren could stay at her home with her. Blanche worked for years at the Wilson Elementary School in the Lunch program until she retired. She was active in the LDS Church serving several years in the Primary Presidency and as a teacher. She loved working with the children. She was also a visiting teacher as well as fulfilling other callings one of which was a receptionist in the Logan Temple, Mom loved this calling and held it for many years.

She lived in Logan all her life, until 6 years ago when: she moved to Tremonton to be closer to her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim, four brothers Lemar, Daryl, Glen, and Reed Larsen, and 3 sisters Thelma Corbridge, Verda Johnson, and Lilly Dale DeMille. Mom was dearly loved by her family and anyone that knew her, she was blessed with a compassionate nature and was a care giver to her mother, as well as two of her sisters, she was always helping her friends and neighbors, taking them to get their hair done or to go shopping, she was always giving service to others. Funeral services will be held in on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. with a viewing from 10:00 to 11 :45 a.m. at the Allen Hall Mortuary 34 E. Center Street. Internment will be in the Logan Cemetery.
